Role: Electrical Supervisor
Location: HMP Erlestoke
Employment Type: Temporary minimum of 6 months
Typical Hours:Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00
As an Electrical Supervisor at HMP Erlestoke, you will oversee the electrical maintenance team, ensuring both planned and reactive works are carried out efficiently.
Working closely with the prison service, you will lead a team responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Duties of an Electrical Supervisor Include (but are not limited to):
- Supervising and coordinating the electrical team's workload
- Conducting staff appraisals and providing performance feedback
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Managing tool inventory and maintaining security procedures
- Leading fault-finding investigations and implementing solutions
The successful Electrical Supervisor should possess the following:
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- BS7671 – 18th Edition qualification
- Minimum of five years' experience in electrical maintenance
- Experience working in commercial or industrial electrical systems
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
Due to the nature of the environment, standard Security Vetting is required.
