A well-established housing association is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their Voids Team. You'll carry out electrical repairs, installations, testing and associated multi-trade tasks to ensure empty homes are safe, compliant, and ready for new tenants.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for stability, consistent hours, and a genuine route into a permanent role.
Your new role
- Electrical repairs, replacements and upgrades within void properties
- Fault finding, diagnostics and rectification
- Periodic inspection and testing in line with regulations
- Completing EICRs and associated certification
- Working independently across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and North Leicestershire
- Ensuring all work meets safety, compliance and quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician, ideally within social housing or voids
- Ability to complete EICRs confidently and accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently across multiple sites
