Key Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for:
- PCB assembly, component placement, soldering and rework
- Cable assembly, wiring, crimping, looming and harness assembly
- Mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
- Reading engineering drawings, schematics and assembly instructions
- Assembling products to production schedules and quality standards
- Carrying out basic inspection and testing
- Maintaining production and traceability records
- Reporting defects and non-conformances
- Following ISO 9001 procedures and ESD requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous PCB, cable or mechanical assembly experience
- Experience as a Solderer within electronics manufacturing
- Ability to read engineering drawings and assembly documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Understanding of quality inspection processes
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience as a Production Operative would be advantageous
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards or ESD controls is beneficial
