Electronics Engineer (Fault Finding / Repair)
Stoke-on-Trent
£40,000 – £43,000 + Overtime (1.5x) + Training + Progression
Monday – Friday, Days (40 Hours)
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer who enjoys fault finding, diagnosing and fixing complex equipment rather than repetitive bench work.
This is a hands-on role working on high-value, specialist industrial electronic systems, where you'll be encouraged to investigate faults, improve performance and get involved in more technical problem-solving and development work.
The Role
- Fault finding, repair and refurbishment of high-value electronic equipment
- Diagnose issues down to the component level (PCB level work)
- Modify, tweak, and improve systems, not just standard testing
- Support testing, servicing, and continuous improvement activities
- Workshop-based role with opportunities to get involved in technical projects / R&D
The Person
- Background as an Electronics Engineer (hands-on)
- Strong hands-on fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Holds an Electronics qualification (HNC / NVQ / C&G or similar)
- Enjoys problem-solving, repair and improving products
- Looking for a varied, technical role beyond routine bench work
