Electronics Inspector
Location: Dorchester Area
Hours: 39 hours per week over a 4-day working week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PCB Inspector to join our clients manufacturing team based in the Dorchester area. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established electronics manufacturer offering a great working environment and a 4-day working week.
The Role
As a PCB Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of printed circuit board assemblies through both manual visual inspection and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). Working within a high-quality manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining product standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual visual inspection of PCB assemblies.
- Conduct Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and review inspection results.
- Inspect products to IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 standards.
- Identify, record, and report defects and non-conformances.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all inspection documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in PCB inspection within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 standards.
- Experience using AOI equipment and interpreting inspection results.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- IPC certification would be advantageous but is not essential.
