Job Title: Employment Advisor

Salary: £31,700

The Role:
- Engage, motivate and support a caseload of unemployed participants through to gaining sustainable employment.
- Provide support and guidance to your caseload, surrounding benefits/welfare advice, disclosure of health symptoms etc.
- Work in partnership with your caseload to complete action plans, and to better understand their skills, aspirations and goals.
- Provide employability support, to include: matching participants to suitable job vacancies, CV writing, job searching, interview techniques etc.
- Proactively engage with local employers, to source vacancies, understand their recruitment needs and promote candidates.
Criteria:
- Experience of working within a similar Employment Advisor / Employer Engagement role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience of working towards KPIs.
- Must be IT literate.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
