This is a standout opportunity for a talented Employment Barrister to join a growing in-house advocacy function within a highly regarded national law firm.
The Opportunity
You’ll step into a busy and expanding advocacy team, delivering high-quality representation across a diverse client base. Expect a steady flow of Employment Tribunal advocacy—from preliminary through to full hearings.
Crucially, this role allows you to focus on what you do best: advocacy. You won’t be responsible for running litigation or managing your own caseload from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal hearings
- Drafting pleadings, opinions and advisory documents
- Collaborating closely with Solicitors and Senior Advocates
- Supporting training initiatives for clients and internal teams
- Delivering commercially focused, pragmatic advice
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Barrister (or Solicitor Advocate)
- Circa 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong Employment Tribunal advocacy experience
- Excellent drafting and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- A genuine interest in employment law and advocacy-led practice
