A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Paralegal or Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its successful Employment team in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists, advising a loyal employer client base on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while developing your technical expertise in a supportive and friendly environment.
The Role
You'll become part of a close-knit team handling a varied respondent-focused caseload, gaining exposure to a wide range of employment law matters and building lasting client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting fee earners on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Preparing for and attending Employment Tribunal hearings. Undertaking legal research to support case strategy and ongoing matters. Preparing hearing bundles, disclosure documents and case papers. Liaising with clients, counsel and other professionals to ensure an excellent standard of client service. Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver practical, commercial advice to employer clients. The Candidate

At least 12 months' experience within employment law. A solid understanding of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Confidence building relationships with clients and colleagues alike. A proactive approach with a genuine enthusiasm for developing a career in employment law.
