Our Top 200 client is seeking an Employment Solicitor (2–5 years PQE+) to join their highly regarded and supportive team, handling a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment law work. Key Responsibilities for this Employment Solicitor role
- Provide practical, day-to-day advice to clients on a broad range of HR and employment law matters.
- Draft and review employment contracts, workplace policies, and staff handbooks.
- Advise on and manage Settlement Agreements, redundancy processes, and Employment Tribunal claims.
- Support corporate transactions by delivering employment law input, including TUPE advice and due diligence.
- Handle a diverse caseload with exposure to both claimant and respondent employment matters.
- Undertake advocacy in court, chambers, and tribunal settings where appropriate.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, client training sessions, and marketing activities.
- Build strong client relationships and develop new contacts for the team and firm.
Experience Required for this Employment Solicitor vacancy:
- 2–5 years PQE+ with solid experience advising on day-to-day HR and employment law issues.
- Experience drafting employment contracts, policies, and staff handbooks.
- Proven experience handling Settlement Agreements, redundancy matters, and Employment Tribunal claims.
- Experience supporting corporate transactions with employment law input, including TUPE and due diligence.
- Exposure to both claimant and respondent employment work.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and marketing skills
