Employment Solicitor / Employment Lawyer (NQ – 5 PQE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor / Employment Lawyer to join a well-established and highly regarded Employment Law team within a leading regional law firm, supported by a national legal group and committed to ambitious growth.
This role offers high-quality employment law work, modern ways of working and the chance to develop your career within a progressive, collaborative and client-focused practice. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors through to 5 years’ PQE.
The Role
You will join a close-knit and innovative Employment Law team advising a diverse and high-quality client base, including:
- Multi-national companies
- Public sector organisations
- SMEs
- Healthcare providers
- Schools, colleges and charities
- Senior individuals and business owners
The work is a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, delivered with a strong focus on client relationships, commerciality and responsiveness.
A key feature of this role is the opportunity to work closely with HR consultants as part of an out-sourced HR advisory service, providing truly joined-up legal and HR support to clients.
The Team
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary Employment team of around 15 professionals, including Partners, Senior Associates, Solicitors, HR Consultants, Paralegals and support staff.
The team operates in a collaborative and supportive way, with individuals encouraged to work autonomously while benefiting from strong peer support. High standards and fast turnaround times are balanced with a genuine commitment to work–life balance.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Experience in employment law (NQ – 5 PQE)
- Strong technical ability with a practical, client-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Interested in professional development and long-term progression
