Engineering Manager – Aerospace MRO

Engineering Manager (Aerospace MRO) New opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and advance the component repair and overhaul capabilities within an aerospace repair facility. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring our technical facilities, processes, and people can meet current delivery commitments while developing capability for new customer requirements.

You'll be comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple priorities, and driving practical improvements in a busy production environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines/trades to ensure production tasks are completed smoothly, safely, and on time.

  • Provide technical guidance for new repair processes, supporting introductions into production and troubleshooting issues.

  • Resolve existing production difficulties, identifying root cause and implementing effective corrective actions.

  • Embed and maintain best practices across MRO repair facilities, supporting consistency, quality, and efficiency.

  • Support projects that enhance facility capability and customer deliverables.

  • Carry out other duties within your capability as required by the business.

What we're looking for

  • Several years' hands-on engineering experience within an aerospace repair facility (MRO/component repair).

  • Holds appropriate component repair approvals.

  • Project management experience with strong communication, teamwork, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong working awareness of QA requirements within component repair environments.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Full clean UK driving licence.
