Your Role:
- Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Academic Progress: Supporting students of all abilities to build confidence, maximize memory retention, and excel in their upcoming GCSE preparation.
- Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation.
- Collaborative Practice: Working closely with the English department, internal support staff, and the leadership team to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent UK teaching qualification is preferred (strong instructors will be considered).
- A degree in English Language/Literature or a related subject.
- A genuine passion for secondary education and a commitment to raising student attainment.
- Full availability for the duration of the Autumn Term.
- An enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK.
