Reed Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school near Corby to recruit a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026.

The Role
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan and teach engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives
- Support students’ academic progress as well as their wider development
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school is essential
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desirable but not essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of GCSE English Language and Literature
- Ability to deliver engaging lessons and maintain strong behaviour management
- Committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Willing to contribute to the wider school community
