Salary: M1 to M6 depending on experience
A well-regarded secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis from September.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, delivering high-quality English lessons to motivated students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language and Literature to Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular activities
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for education and helping students succeed
