English Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time English Teacher to work at a School in the East Riding of Yorkshire, starting 7 September, and lasting until September 2027. This is a temporary position to cover the period of absence due to a maternity cover. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, from £34,069 to £52,835 per year.
This role will involve teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. This school does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher. You will mainly be teaching Key Stage 3, with some lessons of Year 10 on the timetable.
Located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, near East Hull, this school is easily accessed via car or public transport. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through one term of their ECT.

- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience teaching English to KS4 students
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
