Are you a passionate and qualified and enthusiastic qualified and motivated LS English ESL Teacher to join our secondary team at our international school in Vietnam from August 2026.

Overview

This role focuses on teaching English as a Second Language to Lower Secondary students, supporting both academic English and language development across the curriculum. Teaching Lower Secondary English ESL using the Oxford International Curriculum framework. Developing students’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Supporting English language learners in a bilingual, international setting. Planning engaging, student-centred lessons and assessments. Working collaboratively with international and local teaching staff.

The School

The school is a modern, purpose-built international school offering a bilingual education that combines the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training curriculum with the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC). Their programme emphasises literacy, numeracy, citizenship and practical skills, delivered in an international learning environment with focus on inquiry, creativity and lifelong learning. Classes are small (average ~25 students) and students benefit from a vibrant community and opportunities to develop globally relevant skills.

The ideal candidate

  • A qualified teacher with a degree in Education, a PGCE, or recognised teaching license.
  • Experience teaching young learners in an international or ESL setting is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience
  • Passion for language development and student-centred learning.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to professional growth.
  • Has prior experience teaching English, ideally in an international or multicultural environment
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Is energetic, creative, and a team player
