Sales Valuer – Reading – Base salary to £50,000
I am working with a well-established, independently owned Sales & Lettings agent that has built an outstanding reputation through exceptional customer service, expert local knowledge, and a people-first approach, having offices based in, and around the Reading area.
We're working with a highly successful and growing estate agency that is looking to add an ambitious and driven Valuer/Lister to its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a passion for winning new business. You'll be responsible for generating valuation opportunities, securing new instructions, and guiding clients through the sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market appraisals and convert valuations into new instructions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, buyers, landlords, and local investors.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive networking and prospecting.
- Arrange and carry out property viewings, delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout.
- Negotiate offers and progress sales to achieve successful outcomes for all parties.
- Consistently work towards individual and office performance targets.
- Act as a professional brand ambassador within the local marketplace.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll be a motivated and commercially minded property professional who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in property sales, valuations, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A proven ability to build rapport and win business.
- Knowledge of the local property market and current market trends.
- The drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
