Job Title: Estimator
Salary: Circa £40,000 – £55,000
Location: North Manchester
About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and capable Estimator to join their newly established Facades Division within a larger, well-established group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping estimating processes within a growing business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for facade projects
- Analyse tender documentation and assess project requirements
- Support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure commercially sound bids
- Report directly to the Estimating Manager
- Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating processes and systems
Candidate Profile
- Mid-level experience in estimating (ideally within facades, construction, or related sectors)
- Dynamic and proactive approach, with the ability to add value beyond core responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a competitive tendering environment
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in Excel; experience or interest in implementing new estimating systems is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams
