A leading and rapidly expanding construction business is seeking an Estimator to join their growing team. Specialising in high-quality fit-out and refurbishment schemes across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor where your input will directly influence project success from concept through to delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing project details, interpreting drawings and specifications, and producing accurate, commercially sound pricing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Produce detailed cost estimates, take-offs and pricing models
- Identify risks, scope gaps and key cost drivers
- Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Develop clear and structured pricing breakdowns
- Support value engineering and commercial decision-making
- Ensure seamless handover of pricing and assumptions to delivery teams
About You
- Estimating experience within construction, or Property.
- Background in fit-out, refurbishment or interiors would be an advantage
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and Excel skills
- Commercially aware with a keen eye for detail
- Confident working with subcontractors, design teams and internal stakeholders
