The role of Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork includes:
- Estimator position dealing with a range of woodwork and joinery projects for the fit-out sector
- Whilst primarily an Estimator position, the successful candidate will also support procurement and operational activities, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.
- Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
- Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Producing formal quotations to customers
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork with
- Must have Estimating experience within the Woodworking or Joinery sector
- Highly advantageous to have previous experience on retail fit-out projects
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Full UK driving license
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
