THE ROLE

A fantastic, brand-new position has now become available for an Event Operations Manager, due to continued business growth! As an Event Operations Manager you will manage your own international events from end to end – from concept through to delivery!

The Event Operations Manager position is a broad role that includes:

  • Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of selected events across Europe, Asia, the US, and Africa, ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 attendees to large-scale events of up to 1,000 guests.
  • Support the Head of Event Operations in forecasting and planning budgets and requirements for future events.
  • Source, negotiate, contract, and manage relationships with venues and suppliers, including AV providers and networking service partners.
  • Oversee and reconcile event budgets in excess of £200,000, ensuring effective cost control and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate the development and production of event branding and collateral in partnership with the graphic designer, including signage, badges, printed materials, and digital assets.
  • Manage sponsor, partner, and delegate logistics and communications, including responding to enquiries received through the operations inbox.
  • Research, recommend, and implement innovative ideas to enhance the attendee experience and improve event quality and efficiency.
  • Represent the Event Operations team in internal and external meetings, working cross-functionally to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates applying for the Event Operations Manager role should have similar experience gained from working within a corporate event business – ideally with experience in conference management. You will be confident in managing senior stakeholders and have excellent communication skills.
