Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with the client on a fantastic Events Fundraiser role. The successful candidate will lead on delivering high-profile fundraising events, managing logistics, building relationships, and maximising supporter engagement to generate vital funds for a charity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale fundraising events, ensuring smooth delivery and achieving financial targets.
- Coordinate event logistics, including liaising with suppliers, managing volunteers, and overseeing on-the-day operations.
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to boost event participation and raise awareness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, supporters, and external partners to encourage ongoing engagement.
- Analyse event data and sector trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Manage participant records and financial transactions accurately, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
- Attend events and meetings during weekends, early mornings, or evenings as required to support successful delivery.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in fundraising event management, ideally within the charity sector.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with diverse stakeholders and supporters.
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and supporter stewardship principles.
- Ability to analyse data and sector trends to optimise event performance.
- IT proficient, with excellent skills in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach, with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various event locations and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £15.38 per hour
- Location: Hybrid – Middlesex
- Contract: Initial 1 month rolling
