A well-established secondary school in Haringey is seeking an experienced Exam Officer to join their administration team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional with a strong understanding of examination regulations and school administration processes.
The Role
As Exam Officer, you will take responsibility for the planning, organisation and delivery of all internal and external examinations. You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and examination boards to ensure all examinations run smoothly and in line with current regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all examination entries and registrations
- Liaising with examination boards and awarding bodies
- Coordinating invigilators and examination timetables
- Maintaining accurate student examination records
- Managing examination access arrangements
- Processing examination results and post-results services
- Ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as an Exam Officer in a secondary school
- Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations and examination procedures
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence working with school MIS systems
