Reed Recruitment are partnering with a highly respected professional services firm to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to support their busy Family team in Oxford.

The Role
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to multiple lawyers within the Family team. You’ll work closely with team leaders and wider business support functions, ensuring a seamless and high-quality service is delivered both internally and to clients.
This is a varied role offering a high level of autonomy, where you will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Support & Coordination
- Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and event planning
- Attend meetings and take minutes where required
- Support business development activities, including events and networking
- Assist with legal directory submissions, CV updates and client communications
Client & Administrative Support
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Support the lifecycle of client matters, including file management and compliance checks
- Draft correspondence and legal documents
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems
Finance & Billing
- Assist with billing processes, including preparing draft invoices and reports
- Liaise with finance teams, counsel and clients regarding fees
- Support financial administration and reporting requirements
Workflow Management
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks across several fee earners
- Delegate tasks to internal support teams where appropriate
- Monitor inboxes, manage deadlines and ensure work is progressed efficiently
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Executive Assistant or Legal Secretary who is confident supporting multiple stakeholders in a professional environment.
Essential:
- Previous experience working within a Family Law department
- Experience supporting lawyers or professionals within a professional services environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
You will also be:
- A confident relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Resilient, adaptable and keen to take on new challenges
