Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Egham, Surrey area.
Responsibilities:-
- Working with the China export team closely
- Ensure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded / added into Boxtop. This includes copies of all export documentation and relevant emails in case of future audits
- Arrange collection of any U.K. shipments for export to China and Nigeria, directly through a designated haulier/courier company and ensuring all correct documentation is in place
- Keep warehouse aware of any direct deliveries from UK suppliers/courier or any other 3rd party
- Handling transhipments for Nigeria
- Issue export entries correctly using cds / sequoia
- Ensure all shipments are exported / completed correctly and in a timely manner once the shipment has arrived into, the designated handling warehouse
- Assist, mentor and train other staff members in exports and procedures
- Ensure invoicing requirements are met, issued correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure to work compliantly with AEO and compliance procedures
- Ensure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded / added into Boxtop. This includes copies of all export documentation and relevant emails in case of future audits
- Ensure in house training is up to date
