We're working with a well-established manufacturing business that has built a reputation for quality, consistency and long-term investment. Operating within a continuous production environment, they have created a stable workforce with a strong focus on training, safety and employee retention.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to strengthen the team with an experienced Extrusion Operator.
Extrusion Operator Duties
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for running and monitoring extrusion lines to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
* Setting up and operating blown film extrusion machinery * Monitoring production processes and adjusting where required * Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification * Troubleshooting minor process issues to minimise downtime * Completing production documentation accurately * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety * Working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient shift handovers
Extrusion Operator Requirements
* Previous experience operating extrusion machinery within manufacturing * General extrusion experience will also be considered * A good understanding of quality and production standards * The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment * A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail * Willingness to work a continental shift pattern
What's On Offer
* £30,000 basic salary * Overtime opportunities with typical OTE around £40,000 * 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 nights on, 3 days off shift pattern * A stable, well-run business with long-term prospects * Ongoing investment in equipment and continuous improvement
