EYFS Teacher – Harrow – SEN
A welcoming specialist primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a passionate educator who is focused on delivering high-quality teaching and creating positive learning experiences for pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
As an EYFS Teacher in Harrow, you will play a key role in pupils' academic and social development within a well-resourced learning environment. You will work alongside teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure pupils can access learning and achieve their potential.
Key Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons tailored to learning needs.
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively.
- Develop communication and social skills through structured learning activities.
- Work with teaching assistants and wider school staff to achieve positive outcomes for pupils.
- Build professional relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Strong knowledge of early years practice and development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Patient and flexible approach to teaching.
- Experience working with a range of learning needs and abilities is desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and current educational practices.
