Early Years Teaching Assistant – Tameside
Full-Time | September 2026 Start | Long-Term Opportunity
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Tameside from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to support children at the beginning of their learning journey in a nurturing and inclusive Early Years setting.
To be considered, you must have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Recent experience working within an Early Years setting.
- A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities, promote children's social and emotional development, and help create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
