EYFS Teaching Assistant – Lambeth – Start Date: September 2026
Are you an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is currently seeking a new start for the upcoming academic year?
Remedy are currently recruiting for highly experienced, dedicated and passionate EYFS Teaching Assistants to work within our partner schools supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage. Your role will include working within a variety of school settings on a temporary basis, supporting as an EYFS Teaching Assistant; this role can be totally flexible to your lifestyle whether that requires day-to-day work/shorter-term/longer-term roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality support to all pupils within the EYFS key stage.
- Assist in creating a nurturing learning environment by upkeeping and maintaining behaviour standards and policies in line with school requirements.
- The ability to work using your own initiative, comfortable supporting staff with lesson planning and teaching where required.
- Confident in providing high quality lessons and interventions across EYFS; familiarity of the EYFS Framework is essential.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children at all times.
What we're looking for:
- Will have quite flexible availability, open minded in supporting a particular school on a longer-term basis.
- A qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant (required).
- Has strong and valuable experience working within primary school environments.
- A kind, caring nature which is rooted by a passion for children's learning and welfare.
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one).
- Can provide two recent professional references.
- Is able to commute to Southwark
- Is fully registered (or willing to register) with Remedy
Pay £110 – £125 per day, depending on experience. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
