Facilities Administrator (Remote) – 5 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: £25,000 Pro Rata
Location: Home-Based
Hours: Monday–Friday | 9am–5pm or 9am–3pm (dependant on workload/ candidate's speed)
Are you an organised and personable administrator who enjoys helping others and making a difference? We are recruiting for a Facilities Administrator to join a supportive team on a 5-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of extension.
Working remotely, you will play a key role in supporting residents across multiple sites, ensuring regular welfare contact is maintained and any concerns are escalated appropriately.
The Role
As a Facilities Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with residents, updating systems accurately and supporting the wider facilities team with administration and communication tasks.
Key duties will include:
- Conducting scheduled wellbeing and welfare calls with residents.
- Maintaining accurate records of all conversations and actions taken.
- Following safeguarding processes when residents cannot be contacted.
- Liaising with next of kin, hospitals or other relevant contacts when required.
- Raising maintenance, housing, or welfare concerns with the appropriate team.
- Updating internal databases and systems.
- Supporting the wider facilities team with general administration duties.
- Managing and prioritising workloads independently while working remotely.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in administration, customer service or a similar office-based role.
- Confident communicating with a wide range of people over the telephone.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Teams and internal systems.
- A proactive problem solver with good judgement.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively from home.
- Empathetic, professional, and customer-focused.

Additional Information
- Reliable home internet connection is essential.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to if the role is extended this will be needed.

- Start date preferred: 20th, or alternatively 27th if laptop and phone not ready by then.
