Train Cleaner
Pay: £13.48 per hour + 150% overtime
Hours: 20:00 – 04:00
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (including weekends)
The Role
We are currently recruiting Train Cleaners to join a growing team working in a rail depot environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping trains clean, safe, and ready for service.
No previous experience is required – full training is provided!
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of trains to a high standard
- Carrying out general cleaning and facilities duties
- Working as part of a team (usually groups of 3-4)
- Using cleaning equipment and materials safely
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring work is completed efficiently within set timeframes
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work on your feet for most of the shift (breaks provided)
- Basic English communication skills (spoken and understood)
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation
Training & Onboarding
- Full site induction on your first shift
- Health & Safety training and role expectations covered
- Ongoing support from supervisors
