Facilities Support TechnicianLooking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same?
We're looking for a proactive and practical Facilities Support Technician to help keep our facilities and equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a varied role that combines planned maintenance, repairs, site support, and improvement projects, offering the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.

Weekly rotating shifts:

05:15 – 14:00

14:00 – 22:30

Monday to Friday
Please note: Due to the site location, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle for reliable travel to and from work.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Facilities Support Technician, you will:
-
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine equipment inspections
-
Perform general maintenance and repair work across the site
-
Support equipment upgrades and improvement projects
-
Open and close facilities as required
-
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
-
Undertake a variety of practical tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and general building repairs
-
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
What We're Looking For
-
Experience in general building or facilities maintenance
-
Good practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-
Ability to work independently and use initiative
-
Strong communication skills
-
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
-
Basic computer literacy
-
Full UK driving licence
-
NVQ qualification or equivalent practical experience
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not essential:

Heating and plumbing experience
-
HVAC knowledge
-
Welding skills
-
Carpentry and decorating experience
-
Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)

First Aid qualification
-
Forklift licence
-
Willingness to undertake further training and development
