JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor                 PQE REQUIRED: 8+         LOCATION: South Yorkshire                 SALARY: Up to £70,000 (DOE)                     

THE ROLE: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a specialist family law practice. Working as part of an established and highly regarded team, you will manage a varied caseload of private family matters including divorce, separation, financial remedy proceedings and private children disputes. The role will also involve advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions. Experience of TOLATA matters would be advantageous. In addition to managing your own caseload, you will support the wider family team, assist in the supervision and development of junior colleagues and play an active role in networking and business development activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious family lawyer looking to make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of a specialist practice.

THE CANDIDATE: Applications are sought from Family Solicitors with ideally 8 years' PQE or more, although candidates with relevant experience below this level will also be considered. You will possess strong technical expertise across both children and financial remedy matters and be capable of managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent client care, drafting and communication skills together with strong commercial awareness and a proven billing record. Experience supervising junior team members would be advantageous, as would experience handling TOLATA matters. You will be a motivated and ambitious individual who enjoys building client relationships, developing business opportunities and contributing to the long-term success of the firm.
