Childcare Solicitor
Location: Blackburn / Hybrid/ Remote
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a dedicated and motivated Childcare Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its nationally recognised Domestic Abuse, Children and Stalking Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an award-winning team, offering excellent long-term career prospects for the successful candidate. The role will involve handling complex and often sensitive matters, so resilience, professionalism and empathy are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Family Solicitor to manage a varied caseload of childcare and related matters
- Family Solicitor to conduct advocacy where required
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and best practice
- Maintaining accurate time recording and billing
- Meeting performance targets and compliance requirements
- Undertaking CPD in line with Law Society regulations
About You:
- Qualified Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant experience
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in childcare law
- Confident managing your own caseload and prioritising workloads effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Proactive, organised and commercially aware
- Reliable and conscientious, with strong attention to detail
