About Client:
Our client are a leading independent multi practise law firm based in Luton with 40+ employees.
Role Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join our client’s office in Luton. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career, whether progressing into a Senior Solicitor Head of department role or already operating at Senior Associate or HOD level. You will be responsible for building the department up and building a team around you. Currently our client does get warm Family cases leads in from their website, call in and other marketing activities they carry out on a day to day basis which they then give to consultants on a fee share as oppose to turning away business.
Duties,
Advising on all matters relating to Family Law including
- Divorce,
- Financial remedy proceedings,
- Cohabitation disputes,
- Children and domestic violence,
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, whilst complying with LEXCEL requirements
- Mentoring and leading junior lawyers within the team
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional client service
- Business development activities
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for someone who thrives in a managerial role and id happy to lead by example and has the ability to build a department from ground up. . The ideal candidate will be min 4+ years PQE, someone with proven track record of doing business development activities and bringing on clients, proactive and will have; excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to collaborate effectively in a team-focused environment.
