?? What You’ll Bring
You’ll be qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard, with hands-on experience leading or supporting an engineering function—whether within an insurer, an independent firm, or a similar technical environment.
What will your day look like:
Produce high quality reports
Assess, value and negotiate repair costs
Provide vehicle valuations
Negotiate total loss settlements
Have a detailed understanding of salvage categories
Claims management
Liaise with Field planning team, repairers and customers
Support other members of the team as and when the need dictates

?? Essential Technical Skills
To hit the ground running, you’ll need solid experience using industry-standard estimating systems, including:
Audatex
Glassmatix
An AQP qualification is a definite advantage and will help you stand out.
Inspection scope extends from Cars to HGV’S, Agricultural implements, and caravans Resolve customer complaints Consistency of damage Diminution in value Ensure instruction to reporting timescales remains within SLA’s Contribute to a engaging and collaborative working environment
Adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the department and the company and perform additional tasks as may be required
