Description
Finance Analyst responsibilities:
- Ownership of core financial planning activities, forecasting, budgeting, and providing ad hoc analytical support
- Interpret financial data and performance indicators to support decision-making
- Support the creation of detailed forecasts and budgets
- Play an active role in financial close processes, ensuring outputs are accurate and complete
- Translate data into clear, practical insights that help improve commercial performance
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial input
- Use data-driven analysis to inform decisions
- Drive improvements in financial processes and data quality
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools
