Robert Half has partnered with a professional services business to recruit for a FinanceAnalyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
Role Overview
You'll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate monthly financial close. Working on a hybrid basis, you'll manage financial data reporting, systems interrogation, and analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial information flows throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monthly financial close cycle: journals, management accounts, and balance sheet preparation using Excel, SAP, and reporting systems
- Consolidate plans, budgets, and forecasts in a timely manner; provide financial analysis and interpretation to inform business performance
- Monitor and chase monthly cash collection targets to meet forecast targets
- Produce intercompany invoices and ad-hoc reports as required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems performance
What We're Looking For
- Graduate or AAT part-qualified (with ambition to pursue CIMA or ACCA)
- Strong Excel skills with ability to collate data accurately and create clear outputs
- SAP experience is essential
- Sound financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent planning, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solver with a "can do" attitude
- Ability to manage competing deadlines independently
