The business has experienced steady growth over the past three years, driven by direct-to-consumer expansion and new retail partnerships. The finance team supports a distributed operational structure, and the business is now strengthening its analytical capability to support margin management and supply chain cost visibility.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support financial analysis across procurement, logistics, and production. The role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, requiring you to build relationships with supply chain and manufacturing teams while delivering robust cost and performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis on monthly management accounts and balance sheet activity
- Analyse procurement spend, supplier performance, and logistics costs against budget
- Support full-year and rolling forecasts across business units
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and investment appraisal
- Review inventory valuation, stock movements, and cost of sales month-on-month
- Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain
- Assist with management reporting, board packs, and ad-hoc financial analysis
What we are looking for
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified with strong numerical foundation
- Prior experience in a trading, manufacturing, or supply chain environment
- Working knowledge of procurement, logistics, or inventory accounting
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to build and audit financial models
- Able to communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
