Robert Half is delighted to be supporting a historic and well-established Leeds-based business in the search for a talented Finance Analyst.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys getting into the detail of financial data and turning it into meaningful insight through clear and effective communication. The role will suit a commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable working with large data sets and is excited by the opportunity to contribute to a business's continued growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Delivering detailed performance analysis and actionable financial insight
- Interpreting complex financial data and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders
- Supporting commercial decision-making across the business
- Working with large data sets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Partnering with operational and senior leadership teams to improve business performance
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the business
Candidate profile:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Commercially focused with the ability to translate data into insight
- Comfortable working with large and complex data sets
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to make financial information accessible and meaningful
- Proactive, analytical and keen to add value in a growing business environment
In return, the business is offering a salary of £50,000 – £60,000 plus benefits, alongside hybrid working.
