Finance Assistant – Norwich
Location: Norwich
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
The Opportunity
Keeler Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established business in Norwich in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience who is looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced commercial environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting duties while supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate coding and posting
- Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Raising sales invoices and supporting credit control activities
- Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis as required
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About You
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Good understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- AAT qualified or studying (desirable but not essential)
