Our Client Our client is a leading provider of workplace training across education, health, childcare and social care sectors. They are backed by private equity and are known for driving positive change through skills development.
The Role An exciting opportunity to join the commercial finance team supporting core financial processes across the business: • Supporting purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes • Assisting with invoicing and credit control activities • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers • Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations
Main Duties You will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations: • Processing supplier invoices and managing payment runs • Supporting sales invoicing and assisting with debtor management • Posting journals and maintaining accurate ledger records • Assisting with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations • Providing general finance support, including audit and process improvements
The Successful Candidate •Previous experience in a finance or bookkeeping role with strong attention to detail • Confident working with numbers and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • A proactive team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills • Experience with accounting systems such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks is beneficial • Studying or part-qualified (AAT or similar) is desirable but not essential
