£28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established and growing organisation based in Exeter, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary, ongoing basis. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Assistant will support the day-to-day finance function, assisting with transactional accounting, reconciliations and ledger management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive team, gaining exposure to a broad range of finance activities during an exciting period of business growth.
The responsibilities:
- Process purchase ledger transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain sales ledger records and customer accounts
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs
- Complete regular bank reconciliations
- Support day-to-day finance administration activities
- Reconcile high-volume online sales transactions
- Assist with month-end finance processes
- Provide finance support across multiple business entities
The candidate:
- Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment
- Strong purchase ledger and sales ledger knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Well-organised with the ability to manage workloads effectively
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
