Description
- Assist with processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable tasks.
- Assisting with all aspects of credit control
- Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in transactions.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed.
- Handle queries related to financial processes and liaise with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Assist in ad hoc financial projects or tasks as assigned by the team.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Job Offer
- An hourly rate of £14.00 – £16.00, paid on a temporary basis.
