Finance Assistant (SAGE Experience Essential)
London E14 | Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 | Weekly Rolling Contract
Are you an organised and proactive Finance Assistant with experience using SAGE and a passion for keeping financial processes running smoothly? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a busy and supportive school finance team in East London (E14) on a weekly rolling contract.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, Trust Financial Controller, and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the school. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and finance expertise will make a real difference.
- Raising requisitions and converting them into Purchase Orders using PS Financials, following approval procedures
- Processing invoices for monthly BACS payments
- Managing the shared finance inbox and responding to staff and supplier queries
- Setting up and maintaining supplier records on the system
- Placing orders and ensuring accurate financial records
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc finance and administrative duties

We're looking for:
- Previous Finance Assistant or similar finance administration experience
- Working knowledge of SAGE
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and work accurately under pressure
- Experience within education would be advantageous but is not essential
