Distinct are supporting a growing business that provides solutions across construction, education, healthcare and commercial sectors in their search for a Finance Business Partner.
This is a commercially focused role supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis across the business. You'll work closely with operational stakeholders, providing insight that drives decision-making, improves performance and supports future growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis and monthly reporting
- Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
- Identifying risks, trends and opportunities
- Supporting business cases and investment appraisals
- Cost control and margin improvement initiatives
- Process improvement and reporting enhancement
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within finance, FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles and can confidently translate data into meaningful business insight.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience within finance, FP&A, commercial finance or analytical roles.
- Can analyse complex data and turn it into clear, actionable insight.
- Is confident using Excel and financial systems.
- Is studying towards, or qualified in, ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Can build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Has strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
