An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Sutton Coldfield.
Working as a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving commercial performance and delivering insightful financial analysis to support the achievement of business objectives.
This is a highly visible role that combines business partnering, financial leadership and operational support, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to support the development and delivery of business strategy and operational plans.
- Providing commercial insight and financial analysis to support decision-making and improve business performance.
- Challenging and influencing stakeholders to drive profitability, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
- Developing meaningful performance reporting and KPI dashboards to enable effective performance management.
- Identifying risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to support growth and operational excellence.
- Supporting resource allocation and investment decisions to maximise business performance.
- Driving a culture of commercial awareness and accountability across the organisation.
- Ensuring robust financial controls, governance and reporting processes are maintained.
- Working collaboratively across multiple functions to deliver strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.
About You
We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong track record in commercial finance and business partnering.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience partnering with senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insight.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
- Experience of performance management, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge, with experience of ERP systems advantageous.
