The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic objectives through the provision of high-quality financial analysis, planning, and business partnering.Key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with business units to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to operational and non-financial stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear, meaningful business insights.
• Monitoring business performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Supporting cost management initiatives and driving continuous improvement projects across the business.
• Evaluating the financial viability of projects and business initiatives, providing recommendations to support investment decisions.
• Preparing and presenting timely financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Building strong relationships across the organisation to promote financial accountability and a data-driven culture.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• Previous experience working as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar commercially focused finance role.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, although candidates who are Qualified by Experience (QBE) with relevant expertise will also be considered.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience of partnering with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Proven experience of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• A proactive and commercially focused approach, with the confidence to challenge and support decision-making at all levels.
