Financial Planning & Control Manager – Bracknell – £50k-£63k – Hybrid

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Review financial results, including revenue, cost of sales, inventory, operating expenses and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Ensure provisions, journal approvals and financial controls are completed accurately and in line with accounting standards.

• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders, identifying business risks, opportunities and performance trends.

• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOx controls and internal governance requirements.

• Partner with Shared Service Centre teams to improve processes, service delivery and operational efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and data quality.

• Act as a key finance contact for internal stakeholders across multiple European locations.

• Manage and develop a Finance Planning & Control Specialist.

• Support finance projects and wider business initiatives as required.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).

• Strong experience within financial control, financial reporting or Financial Planning & Control.

• Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS.

• Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet integrity.

• Knowledge of SOx, governance, audit and compliance frameworks.

• Experience working alongside Shared Service Centres.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

• Experience working within an international or multicultural environment.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Hyperion, Trintech Cadency or BOFC would be advantageous.
