Reed Finance are working on behalf of a key client to appoint an experienced Finance Director / CFO who can provide strategic financial leadership across a portfolio of growing SMEs.
This is a senior role suited to a commercially astute FD / CFO with broad industry exposure and a passion for partnering with business owners and leadership teams. Working remotely but with occasional site visits, you will be influential in shaping the futures of ambitious organisations across a variety of sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing strategic financial advice and insight to multiple SMEs
- Driving financial planning, forecasting and performance improvement
- Supporting growth initiatives, funding, and stakeholder decision-making
- Acting as a trusted advisor to MDs, Boards, and investors
About you:
- Proven experience operating at Finance Director level
- Extensive industry background, ideally across SME or owner-managed businesses
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to adapt across varied sectors
- Confident communicator with a consultative, value-adding approach
